After participating in an afternoon episode of "Benzes Behaving Badly" while in Sacramento this past weekend, we limped home wondering how our normally well-behaved 2001 E320 could have turned to the dark side. It did, and six (count 'em: 6!!) error codes and a few dollars later, our car came back running better than new. My wife was like, "Come on, just get in and drive it around the block. You'll see!" It was great. I won't go into the technical details of the repair (it involved wires and electrical things that are meaningless to the great story I'm telling) but it's back and better than ever.By the way, for those of you counting, my 2001 CLK convertible just passed 235,000 miles, about 2 years after I posted my "Hey, I just passed 200,000 miles in this old thing" post. Thanks to Kahlers for keeping these old buggies running and behaving.
We are glad to hear you are enjoying your vehicle and that it made it past 200k miles. Your particular vehicle is made to last especially when its maintained and you have done a great job letting us maintain it. We hope to be of help in the future. Thank you for the review.
